Essentially, this is a huge, real-life, hits-close-to-home topic for many people, shrunk down to fit a high school environment. It delineates the conflict of Christianity vs. Homosexuality, using characters whose points of view we understand, without any heavy-handed messages where the kids learn a Very Important Lesson. Truthfully, the message of the storyline lies with Quinn, someone who’s had to look at her religion and scrutinize her relationship with it during difficult times in her life. She not only speaks her mind, but supports Santana, who (lest we forget) is her oldest friend at McKinley. It was a rewarding and touching choice to give the bulk of the Santana-Brittany valentine song to Quinn, who at some point had to negotiate her religion and her best friends’ feelings - and has always proven to be at least quietly supportive. So, witnessing that support take shape into an action was a wonderful payoff to the original Cheerios’ relationship. Maybe we’ll get more: Quinn’s treatment by the writers this season has done a complete 180, and I couldn’t be happier.

WHY QUINNTANA IS NOT A CRACKSHIP.PART #1.

fairygays:

Well I can talk about that forever with some people, but sometimes they just don’t get me. Also I can’t convince everyone, but I’m trying. So I made this post for unbelievers with a lot of text and gifs/caps on top just how you like it.
How I told earlier nothing is crackship on glee, because every couple had their moments. Crackship according to Urban Dictionary is unusual relationship of any kind of fandom that is unlikely to happen. You could say that Quinntana won’t happen on glee, but if we are taking not just episodes, the universe of glee it can happen. Theoretically. Just because anything can happen on glee.

Quinntana.

Will it ever happen on the show? No. Like some other ships in this fandom, it’s a fascinating idea, but I doubt it’ll happen. I can’t see them turning another established character gay. But I like the idea of them so much more than Brittana.

When I see Brittany and Santana…well,…

Top 5: Quinntana Moments
3. The Fight in 2x01 - I loved this, when the preview clip came out I was jumping up and down with excitement. Towards the end of season one Quinn/Santana interaction was more or less gone and to see them having such an intense encounter made me really happy. Of course it sucked to see Quinn selling out Santana for head cheerleader but she obviously saw Santana as some sort of threat to her status as she could have gotten her position back with just bribery. So it was amazing for me to see that Quinn viewed Santana as an equal and not just as a minion anymore and to see them having such an emotionally charged start to the season gave me hope they would end up friends. (and they did! :))

Top 5: Quinntana Moments
2. ‘The Look’ in 1x22 - This will always be one of my favourite moments for these two because of how understated it is, yet always stands out to me when I watch this episode as it has done from the first time I saw it. Santana Lopez, at that point in time, really did not give two shits about anyone but herself and Brittany, she revelled in the misery of others and clearly resented Quinn for getting close to “her man”. Yet in this split second Santana’s face shows NOTHING but concern, she either knew exactly who Judy was and what that meant for Quinn after being kicked out, or she didn’t know but noticed Quinn’s expression and was concerned anyway.

I just noticed that when Santana’s talking about her super hot sexts, she looks at Quinn’s boobs multiple times. Oh, Santana.

"we’re not so sure Brittany’s necessarily all that ‘angelic’ (if you’d like to know our reasons, hit up our ask box again)"

Why do you guys think Brittany isn't all that angelic?
Asketh - Anonymous

Well (just for the record we’re both fans of Brittany), there are a few instances where she isn’t really all that nice (e.g., Brittany talking about Quinn needing maternity pants in S1 & discussing Rachel’s wardrobe with her in S2) and also that whole Brittany cheating on Artie thing rubbed us both the wrong way. Basically… everyone on Glee has their flaws, just like RL! But we’re still fans. OTP Brittany/[Her] Cup.

The last Unholy trinity scene was very awesome.

blackbya:

I mean, it shows us how much Quinn and Santana have grown.

In the season 1 Quinn would have never admited that she was alone.
In the season 1 Santana would have never comforted Quinn.

Ok so this is going to sound dumb but it's just been on my mind all day after I read this fic
http://citatimidation.livejournal.com/787.html
Brittany is like an angel, accepting/bright/innocent and anyone that's been in this fandom long enough can see all the reasons why she's easy to love. But the reason Quinntana will always be my otp is because Quinn and Santana are both human. Quinn can understand being afraid to come out. Quinn can understand that while high school may just be right now, it's scary. In this fandom it’s pretty much established that Santana and Quinn need someone to come along and get them out of their heads. But I feel like Santana and Quinn are always trying to earn their love when it’s Faberry and Brittana. Brittany will always be the one to have loved Santana, proudly, first. Rachel will always be the one to have forgiven Quinn for every past hurt. While I’m not saying one ship is better then the other because I multi ship with the best of them. I am saying that I love Quinntana because their both human.

Sorry if that made no sense what so ever 

that’s legit! we’re not so sure Brittany’s necessarily all that ‘angelic’ (if you’d like to know our reasons, hit up our ask box again) but this all makes sense in our opinions too.
